Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Juru did an excellent job changing my tires and performing the wheel alignment. He was professional, honest, and efficient. He made sure everything was done correctly, and my car drives smoothly now. I really appreciate his great service and would highly recommend him to anyone needing tire or alignment work.

Outstanding Service & A True Partner in Fleet Care! I cannot say enough good things about my experience at the Pep Boys in Langley Park, MD. The customer service here is absolute top-tier! The entire staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely friendly from the moment you walk through the door. A massive shoutout to Amah, who went above and beyond for me. Amah took the time to personally walk me through the entire fleet service process, making sure I understood every detail and felt completely confident in the care my vehicle was receiving. That level of dedication, clarity, and attentiveness is rare to find, and it made all the difference. If you’re looking for a team that is professional, transparent, and truly cares about their customers, look no further. Amah and the Pep Boys Langley team have earned a customer for life!

WARNING: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! They said most of the crew is new as well. Reviews before 2025 aren’t relevant anymore! I used to go to them exclusively and trusted them, but this time they tried to sneak in services they didn’t even perform! I went in for breaks but right before swiping my card, I saw headlight and filter tasks and when I pointed out that I didn’t approve those tasks, they tried to gaslight me. When I pushed back enough, the mechanic came in and said no worries, we didn’t do all those things anyway….so why were you going to let me pay for them??? Never got an apology from the mechanic. Then they said they would have to “call IT” in order to change the charge in their system. After 20 minutes they finally got the extra charges off. The cashier apologized and told me THIS HAD HAPPENED WITH THIS MECHANIC BEFORE…..as if that would make me feel better??? DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Looking back I shouldn’t have even approved most of the stuff they did for my breaks to begin with. Since I trusted them, I agreed to have them replace every part of all four breaks. DOUBLED THE EXPECTED PRICE. Now I don’t trust their assessment. And who’s to say, maybe they didn’t even

Dropped off vehicle 2004 Chevy @ 3pm after a major suspension repairs performed at a mechanics shop...picked up the next morning; I was told that alignment work will take a few hours. There were other customers ahead of me so my thought was better come next morning. I received a notice shortly before 7pm (closing time) stating vehicle was ready for pick up. The report shows a before an after. This performance alignment was must do after suspension overhaul. Great work by Pepboys!

Came to Pep Boys for a tire replacement and overall it was a solid experience. They had the tire I needed in stock and got everything installed properly with no issues. The work itself was done right, and the staff was professional and straightforward. Only downside was the wait time — it took a few hours longer than expected, even for a relatively simple tire job. If they can tighten up their timing and keep customers updated better, this place would easily be 5 stars. That said, if you’re looking for a reliable auto service shop for tires in the area, this Pep Boys gets the job done and I’d still come back.
